JCHM HABITAT FOR HUMANITY RECEIVES GRANT FOR HEALTHY HOMES PROGRAM JCHM Habitat for Humanity has been granted $400,00 for home repairs in the rural community. These funds are part of HUD and Habitat for Humanity of Oregon's Healthy Homes Program. This program provides funding for repairs for low- to moderate-income homeowners to repair health, safety or structural issues, as well as provide modifications for accessibility. The Healthy Home Program allows JCHM Habitat to complete larger projects than our current Critical Repair program. To be eligible, applicants must:
Live in a rural community, even if not in our service district.
Occupy and own the home to be repaired.
Have a household income below 80% of the area median income. ($71,280 for a family of four in Lane County).
