The Community Build Day is now full! Thank you to all who are participating in this exciting event. We look forward to seeing you on the build site!
Join us this May for the annual Women Build event in Harrisburg, Oregon! We're building on the success of our 2019 Women Build and we want to make this year’s gathering even better.
To comply with state guidelines and to make the event as safe as possible for everyone, we are limiting participation. Sign up for the May 15th Community Build Day or the May 22 Industry Partners Build Day and we’ll make sure you come away from the event energized and with a sense of accomplishment. Registration is now closed.
Space is limited; a maximum of 25 attendees will be allowed. Among the possible construction activities are: constructing the subfloor, cutting studs, raising walls and other build activities.
How it Works
The cost to participate in the event is $125 (scholarships available) and includes your t-shirt and box lunch. Women are encouraged to form teams, though individual builders are very welcome. The Women Build is a chance to share the Habitat for Humanity story with your co-workers and employers and the participation fee can be raised by individual and corporate sponsorships.
As there is a limit on the number of participants, we will cut off registration when we have 25 committed to each day. Payment is required when registering. Once the slots are full, we will maintain a waitlist for any cancellations.
Registration fees for Women Build are non-refundable, with the exception of changes to Oregon workplace regulations related to COVID-19 that would impact construction.
How to Register
To pay by credit card, complete the registration form on our website and use the secure payment site found there. Scholarship information is available on the payment page.
To pay by check, complete the application on the website and mail payment to:

What is Women Build? Women Build is a fundraiser that provides the opportunity for women to take a proactive step in becoming construction literate, empowering them to acquire new skill sets in a collaborative and welcoming atmosphere. Simply put, Women Build is women coming together to build stronger, safer communities.
Is there help available for my participation fee? We have a limited number of partial scholarships available! We want to encourage you to join us at the build site!
Can my employer pay my participation fee? Absolutely! We’re happy to feature your employer as a sponsor of the event in our publicity and at the day of the event. Find the sponsorship document at this link! We'd love to feature your company on the reverse of our t-shirt (just let us know before April 24)!
What are the Covid-19 precautions and regulations? Everyone on the site will be masked and practice good pandemic protocols. Sanitation stations will be available. If you're not well, stay home.
