Junction City/Harrisburg/Monroe Habitat For Humanity offers volunteer opportunities for you to help with all aspects of home building.  We have both construction and non-construction volunteer opportunities available to you.

You do not need to be an expert in construction to help out on a work site. The vast majority of building volunteers have no construction experience or limited building skills. However, volunteers are involved in most phases of construction. There are many tasks that require only a willingness to learn and work with others.

On-site construction work is the most popular of Habitat's volunteer opportunities. By working side-by-side with the family who will live in the house, our volunteers experience for themselves the joy created when a family is able to realize their dream of home ownership. We make every effort to incorporate all willing volunteers regardless of skill level. All volunteers on the construction site must be at least 16 years of age or older. We will work rain or shine!

Construction Site Host : This position is available to a volunteer who would like to assist the construction coordinator with public relations, lunch and safety tasks. This person helps to provide a welcoming environment for volunteers. If you are interested please contact Janet Dunham, Volunteer Coordinator at [ email ]
