Volunteer

Junction City/Harrisburg/Monroe Habitat For Humanity is a volunteer-driven organization. We welcome people from all walks of life to join us! With a minimal staff, we depend upon volunteers to help us grow as an organization and reach our goal of providing homes for families in need. We are blessed to have over a hundred volunteers that help make this possible.

Upcoming Volunteer Opportunities

Help Build!- Every Saturday we are working on the Uriarte Family Home at 624 Erica Place in Harrisburg. We welcome all skill levels and volunteers must be at least 16 years old. Come join us for a very hands on way to give back to your community.

Blues Build Benefit- Saturday August 24th we will be hosting a fun event filled with world class wine and blues music at Pfeiffer Winery. We need volunteers to help set up & clean up. If you are interested in helping on the day of the event or planning, please let us know.

Scandinavian Festival- August 12th-15th we will be having our annual Parking Lot at the Scandinavian Festival. You can help by signing up for a shift and enjoying the Festival while giving back to your community.

Golf Tournament- Friday August 27th we will be hosting our Golf Tournament. If you are interested in helping to plan this event or want to help the day of, please be sure to let us know.

Habitat volunteers contribute more than muscle. Creativity, strategy, and technical skills are among the many invaluable traits volunteers bring to the organization. Individual & Group Volunteers are welcome and we welcome any time committment you can make, even if it is just once!

All of these positions are a tremendous help that directly or indirectly result in the construction of simple, decent homes. For more information, click on one of the categories on the Left Tool Bar under "Volunteer."

If you manage a business, one avenue for contribution is to allow your employees to form a work party at our construction site during work hours.
