Thrivent
Builds with Habitat for Humanity HomesOur affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International has been chosen to join the Thrivent Builds with Habitat for Humanity program! Thrivent Financial for Lutherans and Habitat for Humanity are joining together in an alliance that will put the faith of Lutherans and their communities into action to help families in need move into the economic mainstream and put an end to poverty housing. Between 1991 and 1995, Thrivent Financial and Habitat worked together to build 500 homes. Since the creation of the Thrivent Builds alliance in 1996, however, they have built more than 650 additional homes with Thrivent Financial members, Lutheran congregations and other volunteers. We are honored to be selected to build a Thrivent Builds home! We will work with volunteers from all walks of life and Lutherans to build the Bayliss Home (link to Families page with Bookmark to Bayliss family) in Monroe, beginning this Summer. Call the office at (541) 998-9548 for more information on how you can join this exciting venture! Be sure to visit Thrivent Financial’s website at www.thriventbuilds.com.
