Our affiliate depends on the generous support from our community. There
are several ways that you can contribute, including volunteering your time
and skills, donating
money, services,
equipment or materials, and supporting our events. Your
prayers are also an important contribution to
our affiliate.
 Volunteer Your Time and Skills
We are blessed to have over
a hundred volunteers who help build homes for our partner families, manage
our fundraising booths and serve on committees and our Board of Directors.
You can volunteer as an individual or as a group, and whatever time you
contribute is welcomed, even if it is just once! As a building volunteer,
you work alongside our partner families and get the reward of seeing your
hard work unfold into a new home for them! Everyone is welcome, from
people with no construction experience to skilled tradespeople.
If you manage a business, one avenue for contribution is to allow your
employees to form a work party at our construction site during work hours.
We are in need of filling some specific volunteer positions. For more
information about how you can help with any of these positions, please
email us
or call our office at (541) 998-9548
Site Selection Taskforce
In 2009, our goal is to build three houses for families in need. We are
looking for volunteers with real estate knowledge to find properties on
which we can build.

Church Relations Committee Members
We need to build our Church Relations Committee. Help guide our outreach
to area churches and manage their involvement in our affiliate. This is a
great chance to put your faith into action! For more information, visit
Our Ministry.

Building Site Volunteers
We are building two homes for the first time in our history! We need folks
to hammer nails, paint and help in many other ways. No experience
required.

 Site Hosts
We need people at our building sites who are willing to greet volunteers,
make sure forms are filled out, and help smooth the non-building
functions. Are you a "people person?" You don't need to wield a hammer or
be physically fit for this position.

Volunteer Committee Members
We need someone organized and friendly to help with our Volunteer
Committee. Can you make phone calls? Can you inform our office of changes
to our volunteer database? Then, you’re the person for this job!

Event Participants
We need individuals to help with our bi-annual garage sales, our benefit
parking lot during the Scandinavian Festival and our Annual Golf
Tournament. Find out more about these events and how you can get involved!
Monetary Contribution
Although some of our materials and equipment are donated, most is
purchased. Purchasing land, hiring contractors, and paying for permits is
costly. We depend on your dollars to make the dream of home ownership a
reality for families in need! If you wish to make a tax-deductible
contribution, please send a check to:
Junction City/Harrisburg/Monroe Habitat for Humanity
P.O. Box 171
Junction City, OR 97448
Every dollar counts!

Donate Services
We rely on businesses and self-employed individuals to
donate needed services. Construction services include cabinetmaking,
plumbing, roofing, electrical services and many other construction-related
services. Non-construction services might include printing of signs or
publications or letting us use your meeting rooms or performance halls. If
you feel you or your business can contribute, please email us or call our
office at (541) 998-9548.

Donate Equipment or Materials
Many equipment and
building materials donated to us are tax-deductible. Such donations might
include construction equipment or building materials, office equipment,
marketing materials or quality items to include in our bi-annual garage
sales. If you have donations, please email us or call our office at (541)
998-9548.
 Support Our Events
We have several events and fundraisers each year. One easy way to help us
is just to show up and participate in these events. We hope to see you at
our next event!

Your Prayers
As a faith-based organization, we believe your prayers make a difference.
Please keep us in your thoughts.
